Thurman Fall Farm Tour

Just 20 minutes from Lake George this annual event showcases working farms, some dating back 200 years, with vintage farm implements, and newer operations that boast modern structures with shiny stainless steel hi-tech equipment. Find and print your directory online, or pick up one in town, to self-guide to nine unique sites for free open houses with ag-citing activities for all ages. Start your tour early for a farm-to-fork breakfast sandwich, starting at 9:00 then from noon to 2, savor a barn-loft country lunch.
