Reading of “Safe Harbor,” a play by Karen Lewis

Historic Saranac Lake hosts a reading of SAFE HARBOR, a play about the TB years in Saranac Lake. The play will be read from the stage of the historic auditorium at the former Trudeau Sanatorium, 576 Park Ave., Saranac Lake.

SAFE HARBOR is a play about two people whose lives intersect in a small cure cottage in Saranac Lake. SAFE HARBOR was written in 1990 by Karen L. Lewis, one of the founders of Adirondack Stage Rats, a collective of theatre artists and devotees. Adirondack Stage Rats is dedicated to creating intimate small batch theatre.

Tickets will be available on a first come, first served basis, at a cost of $30/person to support the work of Historic Saranac Lake and their project to rehabilitate the Trudeau Building for expansion of their history museum. Tickets will be available for sale while they last at www.historicsaranaclake.org/events. Wine and light refreshments will be served.
