People & Peaks: Annual Adirondack Stories

The public is cordially invited to join the Adirondack History Museum & the Grace Hudowalski Charitable Trust for the 2nd annual People & Peaks event. This year’s theme is Indigenous Peoples of the Adirondacks. Speakers include Melissa Otis, Curt Stager, and keynoter, David Kanietakeron Fadon (Patches of Snow). The program will also include a film showing of The Mountains Will Wait for You. The Museum and exhibits will open at 9 AM with coffee and light fare. Programs begin at 10AM. Lunch and refreshments will be included. A reception picnic will follow the program at 3 PM, with BBQ by the Elizabethtown Volunteer Fire Dept., celebrating the 86th Anniversary of the 46ers of Troy and the 75th Anniversary of the Adirondack 46ers, Inc. If you are a new 46er, bring your number for special gifts! Admission is free, but we appreciate RSVP’s for planning purposes.
