Meadowmount in Concert: Chamber Concerts in the Courtyard
Hear Meadowmount School of Music students perform classical solo and chamber music masterpieces, in Elizabethtown Social Center. Meadowmount School of Music is one of the world’s most prestigious music programs. Every summer since 1944, approximately 200 young string players come to study with some of the best musicians in the country – Meadowmount counts among its alumni Itzhak Perlman, Yo-Yo Ma, Kyung-Wha Chung, Ani and Ida Kavafian, Joshua Bell, and Jessie Montgomery. From late June to mid-August, the campus is an active concert hub, with three concerts a week by the school’s young musicians, faculty, and guest artists in the Edward Lee and Jean Campe Concert Hall, and, new this year, concerts in expanded venues throughout the region – see the "Events" page at www.meadowmount.org for the full concert schedule.
