Light Up the Night
The NYS Chapter of the Forest Fire Lookout Association will hold the 10th Annual Fire Towers Lighting on Saturday, September 2nd at 9 pm. Last year volunteers were able to light 33 fire towers across New York State. Nearly 40 towers are already registered to participate this year. The event honors the men and women who worked in New York historic fire towers; protecting homes, businesses, communities and surrounding forests. See the full list of participating fire towers HERE.
