Cock-A-Doodle Shoe 5K/10K Snowshoe Race

The 2023 Cock-A-Doodle-Shoe 5K/10K and the 1/2 Mile Kids' Snowshoe Scramble are slated for January 15, 2023. This is a fun, family-friendly event in the beautiful Adirondacks. For both events, there will be a very limited number of loaner shoes available courtesy of Dion Snowshoes and the Town of Plattsburgh Parks and Recreation Department. Please preregister and contact the race organizers to reserve a pair.

• Packet pick up will be in the Clubhouse near the finish line from 8:00-9:45.

• Kid’s Snowshoe Scramble will go off promptly at 10:00

• Upon completion of the Kid’s Snowshoe Scramble the 5K and 10K will be run concurrently from “The Meadow.” The start is approximately 1/2 mile from the finish area so please allow time to run or walk to the start.
