A century ago miniature paddles with vignettes of the Adirondacks and Thousand Islands were hand-carved and painted by Alpheus Keech. These charming souvenirs are rare today, highly prized by collectors.
In honor of Adirondack Life Magazine's 40th anniversary John Miller III has created limited-edition cherry miniature paddles with a classic Adirondack scene of guideboats, lean-to, lake and mountain. Each is hand-painted, signed and numbered by the artist. Each paddle comes with a custom-fit maple stand for display on the mantel, curio or tabletop.
Each paddle measures approximately 22" long. Only 40 paddles will be made and with this unique design. This item is exclusive to Adirondack Life for 2009, our anniversary year.
